This was a decrease of a little more than pounds from the previous year, owing to a decreased demand for pork from those countries demanding inspection. The cost of this work per pound was cent. The value of the exports of animals and animal products for the year ended June 30, 1902, amounted to the large sum of Of this amount, was the value of the animals, of the meat and meat products, and of the dairy products. The total value of the exports of animal products was about greater than the like exports of the previous year, but there was a decrease of nearly in the value of cattle exported.
