Fiona flamingo enjoys watching the marching bands, the belly dancer and the horses in the parade. Fiona Flamingo enjoys a traditional Irish meal of corned beef, cabbage and Irish soda bread. After such a fun day, Fiona Flamingo falls asleep. The zoo keeper has to wake her from her nap to remind her that is time to return to the zoo. At the end of the story, Fiona Flamingo wishes the reader a Happy St. Patrick's Day and hopes that the reader will visit her at the zoo one day. Fiona Flamingo Turns Green is a picture book that is intended for beginning readers to read on their own or with assistance.
