There are employed in the state this year 296 teachers of vocational agriculture, and 118 teachers of vocational home economics. In the field of trade and industrial education there are 572 -teachers employed in the various phases of that program._ In addition to this evidence of expan sion the Division of Vocational Education has on file hundreds of requests for teachers of vocational subjects Which cannot be met because of the lack of funds and the shortage of competent teachers.
