In the “Land of a Thousand Hills”, I was accompanied by a set of emotions, but paradoxical circumstances awaited me on my return. It is complex to explain ordinary situations and give a correct value to facts. However, there had to be a way. Then, I tried. In Rwanda, I have seen miles of dirt roads paved within a few days. I have seen children go to school in the morning, in good spirits and happy. I have seen willing people, good health in remote areas, and projects that work. I have mainly seen hope and improvement.
