Accordingly, this research study has mainly focused on merger and acquisition (M&As) transactions and their effects on business development within the context of telecommunication industry in India. For this purpose, market expansions and business and financial performance of Bharti Airtel and Vodafone over last seven years due to their merger and acquisition transactions were investigated, and found that such transactions have positively affected to business development of both Vodafone and Bharti Airtel.
