As the years went by, the experience soured itself through jealous classmates, posers, people who failed to control their hormones, negligent instructors, rumors, pressure from the system to conform and ongoing politics within the school district. It's now 2020 and I'm a junior in college who lives on campus. Though the freedom I have as an adult is incomprehensible compared to my earlier years, I find myself dealing with the same mundane problems that I had to put up with in grade school except I'm now paying out of pocket for them. Is college truly the adult high school?
