Emily Dorothy Scarborough (1878 – 1935) was an American writer famous for her work related to Texas, folk culture, cotton farming, ghost stories and women's life in the Southwest. Other notable works by this author include: “Fugitive Verses” (1912), “From a Southern Porch” (1919), and “The Wind” (1925). Many vintage books such as this are increasingly scarce and expensive.
