Riddled with guilt and regret for his past mistakes that tore both of them apart, José does his best to navigate his way through their journey as he desperately repairs his bond with his son. Can their relationship overcome such deception and trauma? With his apparent overactive imagination, José tries to convince himself that his feelings of paranoia are just that, paranoia, although he still wastes no time in making sure that his family is safe, in the best way possible. His past life experiences give him no choice. You don’t leave a life of cartels and murder without suffering lasting effects from living in a constant state of alert and awareness. He lost his family once, and he will never allow that to happen again. He can’t afford to take any chances, so he makes sure everything is covered to the max so there is no risk of danger to his loved ones.
