Book excerpt: The three most pervading questions asked by a majority of rational people are: How did I get here? Why am I here? What is my destiny? The author in his quest for answers to these questions has been induced to offer his discoveries in the writing of this book. It is my most sincere wish that perhaps many seeking souls might gain some insight into their search for answers to these all encompassing questions found in their lives, especially during these times of much uncertainty that our world seems to have gone mad. The author is persuaded that he has found answers for profound questions and solace in his daily search of the Holy Scriptures, in addition to the opinions found in the writing of scholars, theologians, philosophers and scientists. Neighl L Groh During the first forty years of my life, I lived as a nominal Christian despite the fact that I was impressively taught the importance of Christian living by my parents starting at a very early age. My mother commenced teaching my five sisters, my brother and me very early in our lives that we must follow, love and receive the Lord Jesus and accept Him as our personal Savior. In the early 1960's I met a group of Christ loving men that changed my attitude and I developed an unquenchable thirst for a much broader knowledge of God's plan and purpose for my life. Starting at the age of forty and continuing until my present age of eighty-five years, I have made it a practice to read the Old Testament once and the New Testament twice each year.
