Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is a simple guide to help parents raise kids with a focus on health and balance which is increasingly difficult in this fast paced world. "When Push Comes To Shove" is a catchy phrase capturing a parenting scale out of balance on its way to being out of control. There's a box labeled Success, which is filled with an unbelievable amount of achievements and accomplishments to be checked off, perfected and solidified as though they are the key to a promising future. It sits opposite, upon the scale, of a box labeled Worthiness, which is filled with thoughts, feelings, reactions, decisions, and vows. Rather than focus on keeping the scale in balance to remain whole and healthy, recent generations of parents have assumed putting more items on the success side will automatically add more weight to their child's worthiness side to maintain the balance. Unfortunately, for many kids, the opposite occurs. With each new item added to the success side, the weight applied to the worthiness side increases exponentially to the point they often feel completely unworthy, exhausted, and overwhelmed.
