The accident put into a coma. Fortunately, she recovered. Seven years later, Katie and her friends graduated from high school . Her parents married in Maui.. When they returned home to New York, Joanne ex-boyfriend, Mike, pulled a gun on Steve. Katie's tried to save him and was accidentally shot and killed. Years later Steve and Joanne had a baby girl name Rose Marie. They vowed to Katie's memory alive for the rest of their lives.
