Book excerpt: The Review Body's annual report contains recommendations for the level of remuneration for doctors and dentists in the NHS with effect from 1 April 2005. Recommendations include: the value of the London weighting should be increased by 3.0 per cent; an increase for salaried GMPs of 3.225 per cent, and that the out-of-hours supplement for GMP registrars should remain at 65 per cent of basic salary. For general dental practitioners, there should be an increase of 3.4 per cent, and the 3.225 per cent uplift on salaries and allowances already been agreed as part of the 3-year pay deal for salaried primary dental care service is endorsed and recommended.
