Book excerpt: One of of five photograph albums curated by Robert Blackwell during the period of his incumbency as the Rector of Amberley Holy Trinity Church from 1836 until his death in 1872. This photograph album features many of the parishioners of the village of Amberley during the later years (1865 - 1872) of his incumbency. Some of these have appeared in the earlier albums but now include their children. This book was created using digital copies of the 'carte-de-visite' sized photographs in the album, many of which have needed to be digitally ‘cleaned’ to aid reproduction.
