For the benefit of those who are not already familiar with the meaning and scope of political geography the book begins with an introductory section outlining the principles of the subject. In the concluding chapter the author examines the role of the Organisation of African Unity both as an instrument of political liberation and as a factor for the resolution of conflicts and the achievement of economic progress and political stability.
