Daniel's life strode athwart the 20th, Century because he was born in 1922 and passed on 3rd, June 1999.His life is remembered by people to be full of good examples and his good deeds both in colonial and post-colonial era. He was an Assistant Chief in the colonial era, and he became a Senior Chief in post-colonial era. Daniel, the Assistant Chief, saved his people from the Mau, Mau reprisals through his wisdom and grit. In Njia Location, during the colonial era, the Chief in Njia Location was a stranger from Imenti, who managed to administer a very vast Location effectively with good advice from Daniel who never envied his Boss. After the Imenti Chief left on retirement, other Chiefs were appointed but they fell on the way.Daniel became the Chief only after Kenya became Independent and that was before it became a Republic. In 1968, Daniel became a Senior Chief and from that time his stars stabilized as an administrator in the Government of Kenya.
