When his wife, Georgianna, faced an unknown illness requiring multiple brain surgeries, John quit his job to be by her side, all the while grasping for any semblance of meaning or hope from the difficulties they now faced. Financially devastated, he drifted away from the beliefs and values that for a lifetime had anchored his behavior. Frozen like a deer in headlights, John became unresponsive to the people in his life. Falling into a state of despair, John began to write. The essays became John's personal way to reconnect to his family. This collection of letters constitutes the reflections that brought him back from the shadows. Within these pages, he conveys to his children the heartfelt messages and values necessary to help them not only survive, but thrive on their journey. It is a walk straight into the heart of what family is truly all about. John Tammaro grew up in the Finger Lakes region of New York, and now lives with his wife in Fairview, Texas. He is a marketing consultant and is working on his next book with his son, Jeremy. John and Georgianna also have two daughters, Heather and Samantha, and three grandchildren: Austin, Bailey and Colton. Publisher's Website: http: //SBPRA.com/JohnMTammar
