Prior to pile driving, engineers need to estimate the required pile length based on soil information and soil mechanics principles. During pile driving, engineers need to verify the load-carrying capacity and integrity of each driven pile. The analysis tools for pile length estimation and dynamic pile testing techniques for pile-driving control constitute the two main focuses of this research.
