It was shown that the short pulse link can remove up to half a bit of skew and jitter from the transmitter. Optoelectronic devices were fabricated and integrated to silicon chips in-house. A first generation wavelength division multiplexed optical link with short pulses was demonstrated and a second generation wavelength division multiplexed optical link system is described. Results are also shown for the testing of individual circuits and devices.
