(Note of clarification: 'diet' as in what they eat each day, not "dieting.") In business life, we can push harder and harder each day to increase income; but profits are a function of costs. It doesn't matter how much income we make, if our costs are too high....we still lose. We understand this math, but often ignore it in our lives. In short, we must each learn how to match our caloric & nutritional intake to our body's needs. This, of course, varies by person....i.e. a young, very active, athletic guy needs much more than someone who works in an office 10 hours a day. Yet, the person sitting at a desk still has ongoing needs for good nutrition. But all too often, when we neglect good/matched nutrition there is a readily available supply of empty calories in junk/fast foods in which we indulge.
