Book excerpt: This dissertation study was to fill a significant gap in the research, more specifically to determine the practices of ISO 9001 quality management certification and corporate culture, financial performance and the relationship among the variables of the study of selected food and beverage manufacturing companies in the Philippines. Cronbach's alpha was utilized to measure the reliability of the four scale Likert-type questionnaire. The final results were that variable were reliable, having coefficients ranging from 0.8512 and 0.9437. The instrument was distributed to quality managers during the months of August to October 2010, and based on 71 valid questionnaires, an investigation was thereafter undertaken through variance and multiple regression analysis to examine the following: the relationship between ISO 9001 and corporate culture, the integration of ISO 9001 with corporate culture to financial performance, the relationship between ISO 9001 and financial performance, and finally between corporate culture and financial performance. The annual audited financial records of respondents were gathered. Preliminary analyses were conducted to ensure no violation of the assumptions of normality, and linearity, and deleted outlier. The results of this study revealed that ISO 9001 quality certification practices directly, positive, and siginificantly related to corporate culture practices. ISO 9001 principles of continuous improvement and mutual beneficial supplier quality management significantly influenced for successful practices of corporate culture. Cultural dimensions of relationship, human resource and performance were stronger practiced and significantly related to asset turnover (ATO). Dimensions of relationship and human resource show negative relationship with ATO. The company size, certification, and product category do not significantly affect profitability (net profit margin, and return on asset). Large size and ISO 9001 certified companies strongly practiced ISO 9001 quality management certification and corporate culture than medium size and non-ISO certified companies.
