Tanuki are familiar to most people but seem to be rather rare, so it's quite something for Utsuho and his other companions to come across an entire village of them! There they meet Tsukumo, defender of the village and, as it happens, Pochi's betrothed! How will Utsuho deal with the effect this seems sure to have on his relationship with his best and most trusted friend?
