Johann and Ann married 18 April 1858 and were the parents of two known children. Johann died 11 August 1866 and Ann married Johannes Hausel. Johannes died 31 August 1873 and Ann immigrated to America with her children 3 June 1883. They settled in Wayne Co., Iowa. Descendants lived in Iowa, South Dakota, California and elsewhere.
