While transitioning to a different school, he encountered many children that consistently made fun of him, mostly due to his physical attributes or his childlike personality (i.e., at ten, he still liked Transformers). Although he had many bullies, the bully in this story represents all of his oppressors rolled into one character. In the climax of the story, CJ attempts to deal with his issues himself by fleeing them but allows the planted seed of the Word of God and the instruction of myself to let go of the pain that his bullies were causing. In the end, CJ learns to deal with his bullies in a different way, which allowed for an unexpected outcome!
