Book excerpt: This book is a variety of short stories and episodes that I faced while I was a police officer for the city of Newark, New Jersey for fifteen and a half years. It gives a brief description on daily routines that police officers were faced with on the job without a lot of today's technology. I was a street patrolman and didn't have too much knowledge or facts about on going events inside the police department. In this book I tried to convey my personal feelings, thoughts, actions, and some of my experiences on what I witnessed, did or heard on the streets of this city during my time as a police officer from January 6, 1964 to June 30, 1979.
