The focus of this book is to salute, recognize, and celebrate the special group of Students, the athletes, particularly the soccer players. Much has been written about the accomplishments of other groups of ex-Finbarrians, but nothing has been written collectively about the soccer players. It is a book targeting the alumni of the school to bring appropriate glory and recognition to the soccer players of the school, many of whom have gone on to play for the Nigerian National Team as well as play professionally around the world.
